Account Manager – QLD ($160k OTE)

Resellers and fabrication partners are looking for quality, speed and a trusted advisor, not just another price list. That’s where you make the difference.
The role:
As Account Manager for Queensland, you’ll grow share with existing partners while opening new opportunities across targeted channels. You’ll represent a quality portfolio of timber and panel products, building long-term relationships based on expertise and trust.
We welcome candidates from adjacent categories such as joinery, hardware, glass and aluminium, building supplies or related construction industries, where your transferable skills and commercial acumen will set you up for success.
Your focus:
Build trust with resellers, manufacturers, fabrication plants and key industry players
Run a consistent rhythm of 6–7 purposeful calls/visits daily
Win new business by positioning premium products into untapped markets
Collaborate with technical/operations teams to deliver tailored solutions
Travel across SEQ and Regional QLD, max 2-3 days bi-monthly
About you:
3+ years sales/account management with results to match
Building materials knowledge (timber or related construction categories ideal).
Confident face‑to‑face presenter and relationship builder
Full sales cycle capability—from prospecting to long‑term partnerships
Ready to travel for short stints to stay close to customers
